24 in 30. Aces Wild

Into the Wild we go.

With 7th edition we are looking at Aces Wild of the Idlers Conference, last year the Aces went 8-9. Going into this year they will be around the same record I project. Their team has potential to put up numbers but some risks with who and how many keepers. Right now they sit at 7 potential keepers Ryan, Romo, SJax, Rice, Lynch, Jones and Seattle Def. If it was my call I'd probably shoot for 6... But wellI say stay at 7. Trading should be a priority for them though to try and add some picks for young players if they can move anyone. So you decided your chopping none and rolling with: Romo, Ryan, Lynch, Rice, Jones, Seattle Def.  Needs a solid WR, to help bluster the lineup to help put up points in a good division.  Their division will battle all year neck and neck so some big decisions for the Aces Wild to decide what cards to hold or fold.

24 in 30. Sleeping Giants

Set your alarm clock for tomorrow.....

This post we will take a look at the franchise Sleeping Giants. Who finished last year 6-11. They went into the offseason with a plan and have pretty much stuck to it. Going for this years draft. The new kids on the block that could make some what of a splash if their picks turn out. In this years draft they hold 4 number one draft picks which will allow them to build upon Wilson, Martin, Decker and Tate. I could see the giants building for the future but still come up short this year.  Wilson  puts up avg numbers, Martin is a risk reward player, Decker new team new QB, Tate 2nd on Detroit. I have faith we will be seeing the Giants grow but just not yet.

Trade: Griffs and Road Warriors

The art of refinancing your draft picks.

Last night Griffs and Road Warriors made a trade.

Griffs gave:
1.02
8.02

Road Warriors gave:
3.11
5.07
2016 1st
2017 1st

Granted Griffs received compensation for the second overall pick in this years draft they missed out on a chance to snag a top notch rookie before Road Warriors could. I see this as a fair trade if Griffs were in a better situation but they needed help from the 2nd overall draft pick in my eyes.

24 in 30. Wagnoids.

What a Moreno!

With this edition of the 24 teams in 30 days we look at Wagnoids. Last season they were 11-6 and made it to the playoffs. But this season could be a little different due to the decline, injury and retirement of some players on this roster. It appears that they will be possibly keeping 7 Stafford, Moreno, Forte, Bell, Fitzgerald, Tate and Witten and which is not a bad idea considering the way the Idlers draft is tilting toward Road Warriors and talent will go fast. They will be able to put up points from Stafford and Forte but a repeat from Moreno is not likely due to injury and the Dolphins likeness to Miller, Fitzgerald is past his prime, Witten is aging but still able to perform, Tate and Bell will be secondary options in Detroit added with Tony Gonzalez retiring makes it tough. So it's not totally done for the Wags but have some work to do to improve. They could find a diamond in the rough in the draft to add some youth and potential to their squad. This team will look to prove me wrong in my assessment but I still have them low on the radar this year for the Idlers.

24 in 30. RSMP

Rebuilding. Out with the old and in with the...... older.

Happy Monday and thanks for checking out our 4th post for the 24 teams in 30 days review and preview. This edition we will take a look at RSMP. Last year RSMP went 8-9. the major drop off from last year to this one, would be the roster moves that the team made. They added old running backs to the squad Gore and SJax. The choice between taking a risk on RG3 and seeing if he pans out or Rivers who looks to be the pick, and then move RG3 but time is ticking with keepers almost due. The wideouts that were, is what I see with this team. Their all the stars from 2010, most of them are past their prime and aging. Maclin, and Wayne would be the only two that have upside, Colston, Witten, Boldin, Jennings, Gates and Reed are your must trade or drops. If RSMP could move and gain some draft picks they might be able to dive into the first round and make a splash with working at a rebuild. But again time is ticking for trades and this roster.

24 in 30. Griffs

Where to begin?

Welcome back for the third edition of our 24 teams in 30 days today we look at Griffs from the Idlers Conference. Last year Griffs held a  4-13  record. I bet they are happy to see another season closing in and a chance for redemption. Actively shopping the players on her roster could add more picks for the draft. Griffs could possibly chop to 4 by trading and dropping the rest to get them to a possible roster that looks something like this Wilson, TRich, Cameron and either your choice of Sanders or White. They hold the 2nd overall pick in the draft and should use that on a RB to add to their core of just TRich. With adding ore picks for the talent they have they could help build up for some years to come but again it comes down to how the chips fall.

24 in 30. Justwinbaby

You play to Win the Game.....Hello

With the second installment of the 24 in 30 we will review and preview Justwinbaby of the Traders Conference. Last year Justwin was 2-15. They would have received the 1st overall pick in this years Traders draft but were able to stock up on 3 first round picks via trade. Now looking at their team on paper.....well there is not much to look at on or off paper. Sorry, Justwin but this team has become the Jaguars of the league. A disappointment. With the season rolling around I would say they will chop to 4. But what 4 to keep is the question. They play in the Dawg House division which will be tough to scrape together just a win against either division opponent. It sounds all bad for Justwin but its not with a two/three year rebuild we could see this team turn it around. I could see them going for a top notch RB and WR in this years draft to help build a core for years to come.

24 in 30. Hoodlums.

Y'all ain't Hoooood!!!

Let's take a look at NEOFFL franchise Hoodlums. Last year they went 3-14 and locked up the number one overall pick in this years draft for the Idlers Confrence. This team has a lot of work but with the number one overall they should be able to gain a keeper forsure. Going into this season their roster sits at 6, Dalton (Cin TMQB), Mathews, Spiller, Bradshaw, Ridley and  Stevie Johnson. I see them chopping to 4 Dalton, Mathews, Spiller and Ridley and using the number 1 on someone beneficial. The team has some talent but needs to gain a stud from this up coming draft. I put them at taking a high profile WR  possibly to go with their QB and RBs. Lots of choices for the Hoodlums  to make. Now based on the draft they have and track record I put them at or about the same record as last season. Sorry Hoods just too much talent spread around the  Idlers to make an impact. But that all comes down to the season and how others perform.

2014 Projection: 0-17.

At first glace its tough to say but if I was in the Idlers draft I would be a little concerned. That much I know to be true.

Idlers beware.......Blockbuster trade in the works for the Idlers Confrence.

Hold on to your britches!!!

Rumblings of a possible block buster trade have come out in the Idlers Confrence. Check your transaction wire owners to see if it goes through.

Loose Cannons shopping Josh Gordon

Keep/Drop/Trade?

He will most likely stay aboard the Loose Cannons but if they can make a move you shouldn't be suprised to see him walk the plank. He holds value if he is able to return to the Browns as their #1 option. But that's also a big if......

Trading...was it the best move?

Itchy trigger finger?...Wait to pull the trigger.

Over the last 5 months there have been a uprising of trades unlike previous seasons. It is awesome to see the activity in the league and by all of it owners. But it has also been some what of a trade to trade scenario as well. Make sure you are 100% on the trade before accepting and  offering. Wait before you start pointing fingers I admit, I am guilty too I have done it before and posted a trade because I'm bored at night looking at the same roster but it is not always the best move. This league allows you total control  it is the best dynasty league  out there. So take that extra second to review the move you make.
