We would like to say thank you to the numerous owners from the NEOFFL that reached out and showed concern over this past weeks events. Lucky is home and safe. We truly appreciate all the support. That's why I will always say the NEOFFL is the best league of ladies and gentlemen around.

Let the Season Begin

If you haven't checked the Transaction Wire lately your missing out. Lots of action going down in the NEOFFL already. This is already one of the most active offseasons I've seen in my 6 years in the league. Along with our beloved NFL the NEOFFL has been trading like crazy, shifting of picks and players to build the next dynasties of the league. We shall see the build up to Draft Day 2015 and how it plays out this year. I'm excited to see it and we're just one month removed from the Super Bowl.

I run so far awaaayyyy. 

But is that really the case anymore? It's hard to see the league shift from a once heavy run emphasis and stacking up on your Running Backs but those years are past us. We have shifted to a heavy pass receiver league. I remember the golden years where if you had 3 top Running Backs you were boss. Now you need to have a Running Back but if you have 4 top Wideouts yours Boss. With league polls to change up scoring for our wideouts and running backs we could see the shift even more. That's why I say no 6 points receiving tds and no ppr for running backs. 

The gap between the 46-50 ranked wr and rb is 40 points favoring the wideouts. Add more points to the receivers and you kill running backs. You'll have your top 15 but after that why hold another rb go after the wr and stack there. Changes how you view rb in this league. Just my thoughts.  

McCoy to Buffalo

Today there were reports that Kiko Alonzo will be sent to Philly for McCoy. 

Get used to the snow. 

Bulk Up

As of now the Cannons are poised to keep 8 players this summer. With that being said it's safe to assume there will be some talent opening up. These players as of now are on the trading block. They could help you out if your keeping 4 players this August. Let me know if you want to make some moves.

3 Teams 1 Trade

Now there we have it. Three teams 1 trade. All struggling teams mind you. Sorry to have to say it but maybe some shifting of players or picks could help. 2 teams from the idlers and 1 from the traders cnferences. 

I understand we all play to pay...wait pay to play and run our own franchises but just the blogs view point that there are some teams not putting in any effort. When we have potential owners that are waiting to get a crack at it from the outside looking in. Looking in and hearing that there are inactive owners. I've said it a million times this is the best league out there. Why would you not stay active with it?

Hopefully the teams that are on the fence if  they are staying begin to change it around and communicate with the league or let the flood gates open for some new ownerships. But we shall see.

The Wagnoids have put up a tough battle on and off the field but have had to make the decision to cease operations. 

This team has potential but will take some work and tlc. Have you done dynasty leagues? Do you want the challenge of turning this team around. Let me know and I can get you in contact with the people to know. The NEOFFL is the closest thing to the NFL you can get. But I do add it is not for the casual fantasy footballer, one day after the season I was already receiving trade offers. Here is the first of the franchises open up this year. 

Super Bowl Predicts

Today we get to crown a new champion of the NEOFFL. We see a match up that is all but a pick em. Boondock Saints v Beavers. Beavers returning to the Super Bowl looking to avenge a loss in the big game last year. Boondock Saints returning after a 5 year hiatus. Who will we crown. My gut says the guy with Brady and Lynch should pull through. But don't count out Russell Wilson and Blount. Like the NFL game this game is also a toss up. I wish both teams the best and hope to see a great game. So as for a set prediction I say a 82-74 finish for the Boondock Saints. Defense Wins Championships. 

Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is here ladies and gentlemen!!!! This year we have the idlers returning with Beavers. The traders represented by Boondock Saints. Sure to be a great match up. Can Beavers win this year or does he lose back to back Super Bowl's? Predicting this to be a good game, and want to say good luck to both teams.

This is the week where we see who faces off in the beloved NEOFFL Super Bowl! We have reached the Conference Chamipnship round.

Divisional Round

Welcome back ladies and gentleman. We have reached the Divisional Round of the Playoffs. A lot of great match ups and tough losses for some this Wildcard weekend to start off the road to the Super Bowl. This week we see Boondock Saints host Loose Cannons, Cams Cats host Outlaws. On the idlers side we have Road Warriors hosting Dukes while Beavers will host Cheeseheads. Another week of tough games. Hold on to your britches. 

Playoffs

First week of the playoffs is here. Seeding for both conferences is locked up and we are done with the drafts. I'd say we are ready to rock n roll! I will be releasing a final season ranking for teams in another post. But this first week is going to be tough. Below are the match ups. Outlaws still needs to submit. I like WOLVERINES, Outlaws, CHEESEHEADS, HOYER....outlaws is not in all caps because honestly "Scotty's Future 7 rookie RB"......could win that game. But the other ones I feel wolverines will mop me up this week their line up is too good against the Cannons, Cheeseheads against Lacy is tough too but I feel Murray will have a big game. His hand is fine and he's had weeks with it wrapped up so he's going to throw a 18-25 point game. Hoyer dukes is a good game as well but I feel Hoyers WR's will carry him through.
